GUWAHATI: From exploring advanced tea technology to offering technical support in harnessing natural resources, the Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati (IIT-G) and Assam government have collaborated on augmenting the development of the northeastern region.
An official release from IIT-G stated that the premier technology institute will give impetus to research on the use of tea compounds in various sectors such as medicine, health, and wellness sector. “Efforts to highlight the importance of various types of tea and their rich ingredients will be carried out along with the state officials,” said an IIT-G spokesperson.
