BANDA: The upcoming 296 km-long four-lane Bundelkhand Expressway, which is set to become the new lifeline of UP’s culturally and historically significant Bundelkhand region, will be ready by the first week of June and PM Narendra Modi will then launch the project, new UP cabinet minister Nand Gopal Gupta said after taking charge of the industrial development department on Thursday.
The minister said the work on the expressway, whose foundation stone was laid by the PM in February 2020, “is now 91% complete”. The e-way, on which over Rs 7,700 crore has been spent till now, will connect Kudrail village in Etawah district with Bharatkoop on NH-35 in Chitrakoot district.
