NEW DELHI: With just over a week left for the last date of application, the total registrations for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (Undergraduate) has exceeded 11 lakh. Meanwhile, 9.5 lakh aspirants have registered for the JEE (main) session 1. For the first edition of Common University Entrance Test (CUET), close to 4.7 lakh candidates have registered, even as National Testing Agency (NTA) is expecting a significant jump in numbers as more universities come on board due to the extension of the last date for applications.
For CUET, the big numbers are coming from Uttar Pradesh (74,527), followed by Delhi (44,685) and Bihar (17,145). Haryana too recorded over 15,000 registrations. Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and West Bengal are the other states with high registrations.
