NEW DELHI: India on Thursday reported 4,184 fresh Covid cases and 104 deaths. The death toll has reached, 5,15,459.
The total active Covid cases in India dropped further to 44,488. This comes to 0.10 per cent of total cases. With 6,554 recoveries reported in the last 24 hours, the recovery rate has risen to 98.70 per cent. The total number of patients who have recovered from the disease, currently stands at 4,24,20,120.
The daily positivity rate in the country dropped to 0.48 per cent, while the weekly positivity rate stands at 0.58 per cent.
A total of 77.06 crore Covid tests have been conducted so far, of which 8.73 lakh tests were conducted in the past 24 hours.
India has administered 179.53 crore vaccine doses under the nationwide vaccination drive.
