India will try to build consensus on Ukraine during G20 presidency | India News

NEW DLHI: Calling it a historic moment, India on Thursday formally assumed the G20 presidency from Indonesia “at a very critical moment in international affairs”.
Amid differences among G20 nations on Ukraine, India said it will look to build consensus, adding that it expects Russia to participate in all G20 processes under its presidency.
“Russia is a member of the G20 and hence we would expect them to be participating in these processes. The grouping needs to speak with one voice, particularly on important issues affecting the world,” said the external affairs ministry spokesperson.
The ministry also said there is no agreement on Moscow sending a list of over 500 products for potential delivery
