PM Modi at UNGA: we gave the world ‘Buddha’ and not ‘Yuddh’

In his speech at UNGA, PM Modi said that India has played a pivotal role in the UN Peacekeeping Mission across the world and its fight against terrorism.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi speaking at the 74th United Nations General Assembly ( UNGA )underlined the need to unite against terror. “India is a nation that has given Buddha and not Yudh. That is why we have anger and a commitment against terrorism. Terrorism goes against the founding principle of the United Nations, and for the sake of humanity, it is crucial that the world unites against it. A divided world is in nobody’s interests,” he said.
