PM Modi to chair meet with chief ministers on Covid-19 situation today | India News

NEW DELHI: Amid surging Covid-19 cases following the emergence of Omicron variant, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will interact with the Chief Ministers of all states on Thursday at 4:30 pm via video conferencing on the Covid situation.
This is the first meeting of the Prime Minister with the Chief Ministers of all states this year. PM Modi has held several meetings with chief ministers last year.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday chaired a virtual review meeting on Covid-19. PM Modi said that he would hold a meeting with chief ministers soon.
During the review meeting on Sunday, the Prime Minister directed officials to ensure adequate health infrastructure at the district level and accelerate the vaccination drive for teenagers in “mission mode”.
The meeting was attended by Union home minister Amit Shah and Union health minister Mansukh Mandaviya.
