NEW DELHI: A nationwide strike has been called by the employees of various state-run banks to protest against the government’s move to privatise two public sector lenders.
The two-day strike on December 16 and 17 was called by the United Forum of Bank Unions (UFBU). About 10 lakh bank employees will go on a two-day beginning Thursday, therefore, banking operations in India will be affected for these two days.
