Shooting near NYPD headquarters leaves man clinging to life: cops

A 21-year-old man was clinging to life after he was shot multiple times just steps from NYPD headquarters in Lower Manhattan on Monday afternoon, police said.

The victim was found shot in the chest and leg inside of 15 Saint James Place — across the street from One Police Plaza — at around 2:50 p.m., according to cops.

He was rushed to Bellevue Hospital in critical condition.

The suspected gunman was dressed in blue pants and a green sweater, cops said.
