Venkaiah Naidu to PM: Talk to Opposition, clear misunderstandings | India News

NEW DELHI: Former Vice-President M Venkaiah Naidu said on Friday PM Narendra Modi should engage with political leaders from all sides to clear some “misunderstandings” the opposition parties may have about his methods.
Speaking at the launch of a book on the PM’s speeches, ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas’, compiled by the I&B ministry’s Publications Division, Naidu praised Modi for his achievements across diverse sectors like healthcare, foreign policy, technology, and said ‘rising India’ is being recognised by the world. Despite the achievements, however, some sections still harbour reservations about Modi’s methods, either out of misunderstandings, or due to political compulsions, Naidu said.
“Over a period of time, these misunderstandings will also be cleared. The PM should also often meet more and more sections of the political leadership…this side and that side,”…
